O-RING chains
The O-Ring chains are high performance chains that guarantee excellent wear resistance in applications where traditional lubrication is not possible or in environments where there are concentrations of abrasive elements or contaminants.
The O-Ring chains are characterized by the presence of o-rings that seal a special lubricant in the critical working area between pin and bush. This lubricant, which remains isolated thanks to the presence of the o-ring, makes possible the continuous lubrication between the pin and the bush. This avoids the rapid wear of these components without the need for external lubrication. The chain is then lengthened quickly.
They are designed for those applications where periodic lubrication is difficult or even impossible.
The chains with o-rings can have a duration up to 10 times longer than a normal roller chain.
