For the particular type of work, these chains are in contact with atmospheric agents, ground, stones and subject to interspersed shock and tears. They must therefore have remarkable characteristics of resistance to wear and oxidation. They can therefore also be produced in a galvanized version to give a fair protection against oxidation.
